Speakeasy Vaporium LLC is committed to making its website, speakeasyvaporium.com, accessible to as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We want every visitor to be able to find our locations, hours, and product information with ease.

Our Commitment

As a place of public accommodation, Speakeasy Vaporium recognizes its responsibilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and works to extend that commitment to our website. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing effort, not a one-time project.

Conformance Target

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the widely recognized standard for web accessibility. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.

Measures We Have Taken

Steps we have taken to support accessibility across the site include:

• a "skip to main content" link so keyboard users can bypass navigation;
• a visible keyboard focus indicator on links, buttons, and interactive controls;
• descriptive alternative text for meaningful images;
• semantic HTML structure and a logical heading order;
• text and background color combinations chosen to meet AA contrast minimums;
• descriptive labels and ARIA roles on interactive components such as the age verification dialog, testimonial carousel, and product finder;
• mobile menu buttons that have a clear name and tell assistive technology whether the menu is open or closed;
• support for the "reduced motion" setting in your operating system or browser; and
• descriptive titles on embedded maps.

We do not rely on automated accessibility "overlay" widgets. We address accessibility directly in the site's code.

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some limitations remain. We are aware of the following and are working to improve them:

• Embedded maps. Our location pages embed Google Maps, a third-party service whose internal accessibility we do not control. For every location we also provide the full street address and phone number as plain text so the information is available without using the map.
• Third-party content. Some linked third-party websites and services may not meet the same accessibility standards as our own site.
